Post a Neighbor Post

The Neighbor Posts section is really a community forum and social platform designed to connect one to other neighbors ? and Patch reporters, local officials, nonprofits, businesses and experts in your town.

Once you post in this section, your post can look near the top of the Neighbor Posts page. If more info receives enough attention and engagement, it could likewise appear on the homepage for the community or within an email sent to local readers.

You can also answer any posts you see on Patch, to help reply to your neighbors’ questions and participate in local discussions. We encourage neighbors ahead together to help one another understand their community better ? because Patch reporters can’t catch everything, and it takes a village to keep track of what’s happening on the ground.

Always remember to help keep your posts and replies local, clean, friendly and factual, commensurate with the Patch Community Guidelines. And to make Patch a better place for neighbors, please flag any posts or replies that don’t follow these rules.

Adding your event to the Patch Community Calendar is a good way to boost attendance and let neighbors find out about fun stuff happening near them. If finished . you’re posting about includes a date and time, it will always be posted as an event.

Once posted, your event will appear in the primary Calendar section for your community, and sometimes in other event preview sections across Patch and in emails to readers. To improve your listing and present it extra visibility, you can even pay to market it as “Featured” over the region for $1 per day per community. The Classifieds section serves as an area marketplace where you can sell or give away your stuff, search for work, find roommates or tenants and make other local business announcements.

Once posted, your classified will appear in the primary Classifieds section for your community, and sometimes in other preview sections across Patch and in emails to readers. Interested parties may use a contact form that will appear within your post to email you directly about your offer.

To boost your listing and give it extra visibility, you may also pay to market it as “featured” across the region for $1 each day per community.
